Healthy Eating

We provide a healthy balanced diet for out children and offer breakfast, lunch and tea at the setting.  The children are  often involved with preparing meals and parents receive a daily food diary meeting all dietary requirements. Between mealtimes the children enjoy fresh fruit and vegetable snacks and homemade smoothies.

The Children enjoy growing fruit and vegetables in the garden. Growing and nurturing vegetables from seed teach the children about life cycles, and prompt discussions on healthy living and how fruit and veg help our bodies to grow. The best part of growing fruit and vegetables at the setting is harvesting and preparing them for eating as part of a tasty meal.
